Porterhouse Pork Chops

These Porterhouse Pork Chops with chile garlic rub is an easy recipe with amazing flavors. Grilled to a perfect medium these chops are fantastic. Spicy but not to spicy and an excellent choice for your next party.

4 - 1 inch thick porterhouse chops
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp Ancho Chile Powder
1 tsp Chipotle Chile Powder
1/2 tsp cumin
2 tsp garlic powder
Olive oil

  • Trim excess fat from chops. Mix all spices and sprinkle on both sides, rub into meat and set
    out for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat grill 15 minutes. Lightly oil grill with
    olive oil. Place chops on grill, cook 6-8 minutes
    per side. Let rest 10 minutes.


  • The meat is spicy, tender and tasty. Serve with
    grilled zucchini, wonderful roasted potatoes
    and chocolate self-filling cupcakes.
