Double Chocolate Brownies

This easy recipe for Double Chocolate Brownies is delicious. Chewy and chocolaty good. If you love chocolate you are going to devour these tasty treats.

Dry Ingredients:
3/4 cup unsifted flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Combine in small bowl, set aside.

Liquid Base
In small sauce pan combine:
1/3 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp water

  • Bring to just a boil. Remove from heat. Add
    1 cup chocolate chips and 1 tsp vanilla. Stir
    until Chocolate Chips melt. Transfer to large bowl.
  • Add 1 egg and mix with electric mixer until blended, add 1 more egg, mix until blended. Gradually add in the dry ingredients, mix well. Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter into a 9" greased square pan. Bake
    30 - 35 minutes at 325 degrees.


  • Super Simple. They are moist and loaded with chocolate.

    Store in air tight container for up to 2 days. They freeze well. Individually wrap and store in air tight container.

    Superfruit for Maximum Health

    Cook's Note: Use any kind of chocolate chip - - - Milk chocolate, Semi-sweet, dark chocolate chips, chunk chips, mini-chips. Want to add a twist, stir in 1 cup of mint flavored chips or peanut butter chips. Another flavor enhancer would be to add 1 tsp coconut or orange extract for a unique taste.

    This recipe can be doubled. Use a 13 x 9 baking pan, cook 35-40 minutes. Check with toothpick in center of pan, cook an additional 5 minutes if toothpick to gooey.
