Almond Bark

The Ultimate Chocolate Candy

This easy recipe for Almond Bark is the Ultimate Chocolate Candy.....it is fantastic. This candy is sweet but not to sweet.

I keep a bag in the refrigerator and a back up bag in the refrigerator. It is so DELLIOUS!

My dinner guests make me put it away because it is so addicting, bite after bite.....yummy!

Victoria's Almond Bark

4 - 1 oz squares unsweetened chocolate
4 - 1 oz squares semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup dark chocolate chips, 60% cocoa
2 - 3 cups whole roasted unsalted almonds
Large Glass Bowl
13 x 9 glass dish
Foil

  • Heat a pot of water on the stove not
to large as you will place the glass bowl
on the pot to melt the chocolate.
  • While water is coming to a boil, chop
the chocolate squares, place in bowl, add
chocolate chips. Turn stove to low,
    place bowl on pot.

  • Important to slowly melt the chocolate.
With a hot pad, hold the bowl as you stir
the chocolate. Stir several times. When only
a few chocolate pieces are visible, turn heat
off. Continue to stir until melted.
  • Remove from heat, stir in 2 cups almonds.
Texture needs to be thick with almonds,
add more almonds as needed. Line the glass
baking dish with foil, pour chocolate into pan.
Place in refrigerator for about 2 hours.
  • Turn over, remove foil and with large knife
carefully break off pieces from bark. Store in
plastic container in the refrigerator, or store
    some in the freezer.

  • I promise, who ever you share this with,
    they will be very pleased!
